When should we arrive for our tour or charter?

We ask that guests arrive 15-30 minutes prior to arrival to allow time for loading.

Is the boat safe?

Our boats are Transport Canada certified and go through regular checks and inspections. All Captains and Crew are experienced and licensed by Transport Canada. Safety instructions are given to guests before departure of every tour/water taxi service. There are life jackets available onboard, as well as a life raft.

What if it’s raining?

Tours operate rain or shine! Safety is our #1 priority therefore if the weather conditions (including high winds) are extreme, your tour may be cancelled at the discretion of the Captain.

What is your cancellation policy?

Water Taxi Terms and Conditions: full payment at time of booking. Full refund for cancellation with a minimum of 72 hours notice prior to scheduled departure time. No refund if cancellation is less than 72 hours before scheduled date and time. Refunds will not apply if you miss your tour/trip. Indian Arm Recreational Services reserves the right to cancel due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. Rescheduling will depend on availability and will be subject to a $15 administration fee. You will need to contact us at info@indianarm.ca or call 604-359-8778.

Tours and Memorials at Sea: full payment at time of booking. Full refund for cancellation with a minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to scheduled departure time. No refund if cancellation is less than 2 weeks before scheduled date and time. Refunds will not apply if you miss your tour/trip. Are there bathrooms on the boat?

Yes…and no. There is a bathroom aboard Oceanwatch ll. There is no bathroom aboard Oceanwatch or the water taxi. Longer tours are usually aboard Oceanwatch ll.

Are snacks or beverages available?

No food or drinks are provided during your tour; however, guests are welcome to bring their own.

Are there any age restrictions?

Not at all!

What happens if I get seasick while on the boat?

If you are concerned, speak with pharmacist regarding anti-nausea options, and bring along some ginger candy!
